Global AI Summit 2025: Shaping Africa’s AI Future

 The Global AI Summit on Africa is taking place in Kigali, Rwanda, from April 3 to 4, 2025. Hosted by the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) Rwanda and the Ministry of ICT & Innovation, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum, the summit brings together over 1,000 leaders from the global AI ecosystem. Participants include heads of state, government ministers, CEOs, civil society representatives, startups, investors, and international organizations.

The two-day event features keynotes, panels, and workshops centered around seven thematic areas:

1. People – Exploring jobs, skills, and talent mobility in the global AI economy.

2. Infrastructure – Addressing barriers to AI adoption and the building blocks for the future.

4. AI Models – Identifying gaps and opportunities for inclusive development—language, culture, and context.
